The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Yenagoa Branch is set to host a World Press Conference on Friday, 21st June 2024, at 10am at the NBA Yenagoa Secretariat, Hon. Justice Koripamo Ungbuku High Court Complex, Onopa Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The press conference, which marks the commencement of the Law Week, will feature the Chairman of the Branch, Mr. Somina Johnbull, who will address the press on topical societal issues bordering on Nation-Building, as well as share insights on the theme of the law week. In a bid to ensure wide coverage and engagement with the public at the press conference, there would be international media organizations with repute like, Arise News, TVC News, NTA and Rhythm FM. The press conference promises to be an insightful and thought-provoking event.

  Senator Heineken Lokpobiri set to attend the Plenary Session of the 2024 Law Week of the Nigerian Bar Association, Yenagoa Branch. The Honorable Minister of Petroleum Resources (Oil), Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, Ph.D has confirmed his availability to attend the Plenary Session of NBA Yenagoa Law Week which is scheduled to hold on Friday, the 28th of June, 2024 by 10am at the DSP Alamieyeseigha Memorial Banquet Hall, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. Senator Lokpobiri, a lawyer and the pioneer Speaker of the Bayelsa State House of Assembly was the Senator who represented Bayelsa West Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate between 2007-2015.
